Bitter Melon (Momordica Charantia)

Several studies have been on going with the use of bitter melon.  Constituents
within the fruit is steroidal saponins (Charantin), insulin-like peptides, alkaloids, and
proteins, Alpha and beta momorchain.  Some research has been performed with the
inhibition of the AIDS Virus, but only in test tubes, not humans.

Studies  and effects have shown to assist with:

AIDS
Anti-cancer effects
Diabetes
Leukemia
Psoriasis

Caution:
Excessive high doses may cause abdominal pain and diarrhea.  Diabetic must use with
caution and under a physicians supervision when taking medications.  As with all
medications, herbs, and supplements it is best to research and talk to a medical
professional prior to pursuing treatments for any ailments.
