Dr. Tiomico-Trahan had completed her bachelor of Science in Biology 1982 and graduated
as a Doctor of Medicine from College of Medicine and Surgery at the University of
Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines in 1986

As an intern, she performed many long rewarding hours in providing patient care to
patients at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Hospital inQuezon City, Philippines through 1987
