Believed to have originated in China over 5,000
years ago, Reflexology is considered the art of
ancient healing.  As with other therapies from
the East, its concepts begin with the flow of
balanced energy to promote good health
fundamentals.  Reflexology specifies that the
feet and hands  represent specific parts and
organs of the whole body.

By originating through the feet and hands, the
Reflexologists find it easily accessible to
coordinate therapies which maybe too tender
for the touch, or possible areas broken skin
difficult to treat.  By applying acupressure to
massage specific areas, the specialist can treat
the imbalance of energy flow and allow the
body to begin healing itself.

There are approximately 7,200 nerve endings
within the human foot.  By stimulating nerve
endings, this will increase circulation, which will
have a profound effect on stress reduction and
mental relaxation.  Therefore, assisting the
bodies aspect to heal itself, through increased
energy.

massage.  It is specialized recognition of signs,
symptoms, and ability to apply a specialized
techniques to calm, education, and assist in
personal healing.

utilizing acupressure points on
"zones" within the feet, hands,
and ears, which corresponds to
organs, glands, and specific body
system functions.

non-invasive therapy.  Reflexology is
not a substitute for medical health
