Reiki Medical Applications

Pronounced Reiki (Ray-Key), it is a Japanese
phrase which means a Universal Life Force.
Reiki is a gentle method of hands on healing and
is widely used today for the treatment of stress
and pain syndromes.

The profound healing properties and principles
of Reiki were established by Dr. Mikao Usui
from 1862 - 1926.  After long pilgrimages most
budhists studied a wide range of mediations,
philosophies, and various healing remedies and
techniques.  Dr. Usui taught disciples and
masters to pass on these healing properties
which are being highly used in throughout the
world today.

Through the many scientific studies of the
effects of Reiki, hospitals and medical practices
are including these techniques to aide with
patient care.  Today, Reiki is used in Yale
University, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital,
California Pacific Medical Facilities, Kesler
Institute, and many local and regional facilities.

Patients who have been diagnosed with Cancer,
Aids, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumitoid Arthritis,
Cerebal Palsy, undergoing pre and post-op
procedures, fibromyalgia, and Lupus have all
indicated relief form Reiki Therapy.
